  3. Welcome to Vivid Interactive and EROTIC GAMES!. Please note the following instructions
  4. and guidelines for installing and using EROTIC GAMES!
  5.

  8. INSTALLATION
  9. ------------

  11. This program uses Apple's Quicktime for Windows to play back the movies you will
  12. see.  A runtime copy is included on EROTIC GAMES disc.  
  13.

  15. You may begin installation of EROTIC GAMES in one of two ways:
  16.  
  17. 1 -- From within Windows File Manager - simply double click on the SETUP.EXE
  18.      file (located inside the PC folder), directly from the CD directory.
  19.  
  20. 2 -- From Windows Program Manager - Select Run from the File menu and type 
  21.      the full path to the PC directory on the CD-ROM drive and SETUP.EXE
  22.      i.e.  G:\PC\SETUP.EXE
  23.

  25. The installation procedure will copy Quicktime for Windows to your system
  26. (if Quicktime for Windows is not currently installed) but will not copy ANY
  27. additional files to your hard drive. However, the installer will create a Program
  28. Group (Vivid Interactive) and Icons within the Group to facilitate play. Once your new
  29. icons are created you can click on the EROTIC GAMES icon to begin play. Allow 15-30
  30. seconds for THE PROGRAM to load (this depends on the speed of your hardware). Once in
  31. THE PROGRAM, allow 2-7 seconds to respond to your selections. To exit the program
  32. at any time, press Alt-F4 or click on the EXIT or QUIT button, this should stop movie
  33. play and return you to Windows.

  36. System Requirements and Recommendations

  39.   IBM 80386 or compatible - 80486 will perform better

  41.   4mb of free RAM  - with 8 MB recommended

  43.   Double Speed CD-ROM Drive & Sound card (with Most Recent Drivers!)

  45.   Graphics Support for 256 colors (* 8-bit, 16-bit, or 24 bit)

  47.   Microsoft Windows 3.1 and above with Mouse

  50. If you have a screen saver active, disable it prior to starting the program.  
  51. If the screen saver becomes active during the program you may lose your
  52. cursor.
  53.  
  54. Some high resolution video cards may require "updated drivers" in order to
  55. work properly with QuickTime for Windows. If you experience problems when
  56. starting or running the Program, contact your Video Card manufacturer to inquire
  57. about updated software for their card.

  60. * Additional Color Comments:

  62. These programs run in 8 Bit, 16 bit, or 24 bit color. To play these programs in
  63. other than 256 colors (8 bit), simply select the proper driver to run in
  64. either 16 bit or 24 bit (Read your Video Card Manufacturers documentation for
  65. information regarding your current Video Card's color capabilities, you may
  66. require a new Video Card to run in higher color settings). Once you have selected
  67. your new driver, simply start the program as explained under INSTALLATION. You
  68. may receive a dialogue box warning you that "you may experience unexpected results
  69. when running in other than 16 or 256 colors (8 bit), simply click the YES button
  70. and continue program play.
